Subject: My genealogy research.
I just found the most wonderful offering from the Maryland State Archives website - their Vital Records Indexing Project. They have provided digital access to Maryland death records for the counties and Baltimore City. The records begin in 1875 and end (variously) with 1972. These are scanned images of the original microfilmed records and are in PDF format. The searching is slow going, but doable. I have found what looks to be several of my Hooper ancestors through this search feature. And, when you click on a link, it brings up an order form that you can print out that includes all of the relevant information for ordering certificates.
